Position: Sales Manager (m/f/d)
In this role, you will lead the retail sales team across Germany, managing a team of 10 sales representatives who support healthcare professionals, medical centers, and clinics, specifically focused on chronic care. You’ll also drive the expansion of digital sales channels, improving efficiency, and extending reach into general medicine, pharmacies, and other service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Oversee and develop a field sales team of 10 employees across Germany.
  • Expand and integrate digital sales channels to enhance overall sales process efficiency.
  • Coach and guide team members for personal growth and improved sales performance.
  • Set and analyze sales targets, identifying areas for improvement to align with company objectives.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Support and expand the existing customer network within specialized healthcare practices and organizations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for entering new markets such as general medicine and pharmacies.
  • Identify market potential and derive actionable strategies.
Strategic Planning and Optimization:
  • Utilize AI-based tools for territory analysis and route optimization to maximize field team efficiency.
  • Implement modern customer relationship management (CRM) standards, using tools such as Salesforce.com for sales planning and reporting.
Coaching and Support:
  • Provide training and support to the field sales team, ensuring first-class product knowledge and customer interactions.
  • Guide the team in developing successful sales strategies and closing deals.
KPI and Performance Management:
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure achievement of targets and continuous improvement.
  • Include digital sales staff in performance reviews to maximize synergies between field and digital sales teams.
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in medical technology or pharmaceutical sales, preferably within chronic care management. Experience in diabetes-related fields is an advantage but not required.
  • Proven track record in leading field sales teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in managing digital sales channels and optimizing overall sales processes.
  • Expertise in sales management, including segmentation, targeting, and sales cycle management.
  • Proficiency in using AI-based tools for territory analysis and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Business fluency in English (both written and spoken).
