Job description
Job Title: Associate Scientific Director
Location: Remote, United States of America
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify educational needs for healthcare providers and patients.
2. Write, review, and edit medical education content across various formats, ensuring scientific accuracy and instructional design alignment.
3. Stay updated on medical literature, emerging therapies, and industry trends to maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
4. Develop content and collaborate with design teams to create engaging educational materials that meet learning objectives.
5. Identify and work with subject matter experts and faculty to develop and refine educational programs.
6. Propose new educational initiatives, formats, and strategies, including needs assessments and adult learning principles.
7. Manage timelines and collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time project delivery and quality standards.
8. Develop and review pre- and post-activity outcomes measures and ensure alignment with learning objectives.
9. Build and maintain professional relationships with faculty and stakeholders to enhance program impact and identify new opportunities.
10. Research, analyze, and synthesize scientific materials to inform program development and content strategy.
Required Qualifications:
• Advanced scientific or medical degree preferred (e.g., NP/PA, RPh/PharmD, MD/DO, PhD).
• 1–3+ years of experience in medical writing, education, or scientific communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EndNote, and PubMed.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills.
