Senior Vice President, Client Services, Market Access
Job description
My agency partner are expanding their market access team and on the hunt for a Senior Vice President, Client Services of Market Access. This person will be instrumental in shaping commercial strategies, leading market access operations, and growing our portfolio. The role requires a strong background in market access, payer relations, and commercial strategy having worked in an agency setting. This is hybrid role, with preferred candidates in the tri-state area.
Position Overview:
- Strategic leader, responsible for driving market access strategies
- This individual will play an instrumental role in growing the current market access portfolio.
- Participate in pitches and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure market success
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align market access strategies with business objectives and ensure successful portfolio growth.
-Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, providers, and policymakers.
-Develop innovative payer access strategies to drive reimbursement and formulary positioning for new and existing products
-Lead the development and execution of value propositions for market access and reimbursement negotiations.
-Provide strategic input for product launches and lifecycle management, focusing on access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies.
-Participate in new business pitches, ensuring a strong understanding of the market landscape and competitive environment.
-Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing market access team
-Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on achieving commercial objectives.
-Stay abreast of industry trends, payer landscape changes, and evolving healthcare policies that impact market access.
-Utilize market intelligence to anticipate challenges and opportunities and guide decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- BA in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Health Economics, or related field
-12+ years of experience in a market access agency, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
-Strong understanding of reimbursement, payer dynamics, and market access across various channels.
-Experience in organic revenue growth and managing complex market access portfolios
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to drive cross functional alignment and influence at senior levels.
-Indepth knowledge of market access, payer strategies, and commercial healthcare dynamics.
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive strategy and decision making.
-Willingness to travel East and West Coast.
