Senior Scientist, Cell Biology – London – Competitive package (12 Month Maternity Cover)

I am delighted to be supporting an oncology-focused biotechnology company that are looking to recruit a Senior Scientist, Cell Biology to join the team.

This is a senior position where they need someone extremely well versed in the analysis of complex pre-clinical and clinical data sets.

To make candidates aware, this is an 12 month Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract. Should you be able to start from January onwards there is the possibility for this to be a 14 month contract.

You will be responsible for:

Contributing to in vitro, cell-based screening and characterization of antibodies and antibody drug conjugates. This work supports target validation and clinical candidate selection through various cell-based assays.
You will also be responsible for overseeing 4 motivated professionals.

You will bring the following:

Well versed background in cell-based assay development ( ideally in cancer biology) but not a deal breaker.
Must have industry experience, unfortunately we are not able to proceed with individuals coming straight from academia.
Experience in antibody discovery.
