BioTalent is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join a Laboratory Diagnostics organisation based in London. You will join the Histology team and play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of laboratories, with a primary focus on assisting in the cut-up room.

This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates looking to go down the Biomedical Scientist route!

You will be responsible for:

• Sorting and booking in specimens for cut up and assisting with cut up procedures as required
• Performing reagent changes and daily maintenance of processors and embedding machines
• Preparation of solutions as needed
• Packaging stock transport boxes for delivery.
• Conducting chuck out procedures and ensuring cleanliness in the cut-up room.
• Providing assistance to NHS teams when required

You will bring the following:

• A degree in Life Science or equivalent
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of Histology and/or being in a Histology setting is advantageous
