About the Role

This position focuses on the development of next-generation therapeutics for genetic diseases. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and an ability to operate in a collaborative environment that bridges scientific research with operational execution. The individual will play a key role in shaping scientific, operational, and external-facing aspects of programs. Responsibilities include business planning, strategy development, competitive intelligence, budget management, and relationship-building across the industry.

This role requires the ability to manage scientific and financial strategies and work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly learn and manage scientific, operational, and external-facing aspects of programs.
• Set and prioritize milestones for team members and programs.
• Coordinate team meetings and delegate tasks effectively.
• Communicate findings and insights to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify challenges, gather resources, and provide data-driven solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD preferred; strong scientific background required.
• Experience in strategic planning, operations, and program management within biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
• Background in management consulting or banking from a top-tier firm is a plus.
