Job description
We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated leader in Translational Immunology to join a rapidly growing, innovative team working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and life sciences.
In this role, you will take on some of the biggest challenges in drug discovery, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to shape the company’s scientific vision. You will lead efforts to build and manage a portfolio of biological targets addressing unmet medical needs, leveraging advanced computational approaches and data-driven methodologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how the industry approaches drug discovery, with a focus on innovation and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Program Lead, driving one or more early-stage drug discovery programs from lead identification through IND submission.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Biology to expand and enhance the portfolio of projects.
- Represent pharmacology in cross-functional and strategic initiatives, including external collaborations, and evaluate pharmacological aspects of ongoing and future projects.
- Oversee work conducted by external research organizations (CROs) and manage associated deliverables.
- Mentor and develop junior researchers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Engage with academic and industry leaders to establish scientific studies supporting new and ongoing programs.
- Contribute to the development of internal research capabilities, including the establishment and growth of laboratory functions.
- Facilitate the integration of advanced technologies, such as AI and automation, into discovery programs to drive innovation.
