Position Summary:
As the Vice President of Sales, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the commercial sales strategy, and fostering strong customer relationships across the portfolio. This role demands a dynamic and visionary leader who can inspire a high-performing sales team and execute strategies to expand market share in the genomics and life sciences industries.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and customer centricity within the sales organization.

Market Development:
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.

Customer Engagement:
- Act as a senior point of contact for strategic accounts and high-value partnerships.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by aligning service offerings with client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with customer requirements.

Operational Excellence:
- Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting processes.
- Partner with internal teams to optimize sales operations, pricing strategies, and service delivery.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure seamless collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in genomics, life sciences, or biotech industries.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and achieving revenue growth.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA or PhD) preferred.
