MEP Lead - Life Sciences

Role: MEP Lead - Outside IR35
Location: Macclesfield, UK 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of MEP systems on a large-scale pharmaceutical project.

• Ensure compliance with GMP standards, HVAC systems, cleanroom requirements, and statutory regulations.

• Manage multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors, and commissioning processes (CQV).

• Oversee equipment tracking, coordination drawings, and integration with main construction programs.

• Conduct snagging, quality walk-downs, and final handovers.

Requirements:

• 10+ years managing large-scale MEP projects in life sciences/pharmaceutical/biotech sectors.

• Expertise in HVAC systems, cleanrooms, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EU GMP).

• Strong leadership, planning, and commercial skills for managing complex MEP projects.

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering; membership in CIBSE/CIOB/IEI is a plus.
