Position Summary:

• Reporting to the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, responsibilities include:  
• Overseeing laboratory personnel and ensuring the quality of care  
• Reviewing procedures, quality control, and assessing staff competency  
• Managing personnel, finances, and the strategic plan for the Laboratory and Pathology Departments  
• Maintaining positive relations with medical staff  
• Keeping up to date with advancements in laboratory medicine and management

Requirements:

• MS with 4 years’ experience, BA/BS with 6 years’ experience, or HEW certification with 10 years’ experience  
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and ability to work under pressure 
• High degree of professional excellence and ethical standards  
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and management desirable
