- Reporting to the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, responsibilities include:
- Overseeing laboratory personnel and ensuring the quality of care
- Reviewing procedures, quality control, and assessing staff competency
- Managing personnel, finances, and the strategic plan for the Laboratory and Pathology Departments
- Maintaining positive relations with medical staff
- Keeping up to date with advancements in laboratory medicine and management
- MS with 4 years’ experience, BA/BS with 6 years’ experience, or HEW certification with 10 years’ experience
- Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and ability to work under pressure
- High degree of professional excellence and ethical standards
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and management desirable
