Job Title: Application Support Specialist
Location: Switzerland
Overview:
We are seeking a LIMS/SAP Systems Support Specialist to join the Quality Unit Support team. In this role, you will provide operational support, coordinate system projects and changes, and ensure GMP compliance. You will interact with various departments, including Quality Control (QC), Logistics, Quality Assurance (QA), and IT/Operational Technology (OT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd Level Support and troubleshooting for users of the LIMS software application.
- Ensure proper implementation and communication of system changes.
- Validate new functions and applications, including creating functional specifications and test scripts.
- Lead the further development and deployment of the new LIMS system.
- Support activities related to LIMS, such as DRs, CAPAs, CRs, INVs, and EICRs.
- Monitor and manage the lifecycle of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist during external audits and inspections.
- Maintain local master data (e.g., groups, components, units).
Key Requirements:
- Laboratory assistant certification, BSc, or equivalent experience in life sciences and/or computer science (strong computer skills essential).
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment and quality control.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical/laboratory software, such as Documentum, LIMS, SAP, or TrackWise.
- Skilled in common software applications (MS Office) with a strong interest in computer-based systems.
- Knowledge of computerized system validation (CSV) is an advantage.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
