We are currently seeking a Therapy Consultant for the Chicago area to join our team. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of epilepsy care. The sales approach targets clinical teams, including epileptologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and allied professionals who define appropriate care for patients who are candidates for device therapy. Additional stakeholders include economic decision-makers and patient advocacy groups. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading epilepsy centers and promote our groundbreaking system.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new accounts and grow existing business.
  • Establish physician champions for product adoption while expanding the user base.
  • Drive successful market development initiatives from planning to execution, with a focus on strengthening referral networks.
  • Implement strategic selling methodologies and consultative selling approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with epileptologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons in the territory.
  • Lead customer education and training, ensuring participation in company-sponsored programs.
  • Educate customers on product features and benefits through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Support patients through all phases of the clinical process.
  • Collaborate with clinical support teams to implement patient education programs at key accounts.
  • Work with clinical engineers to support patient education events and advocacy group meetings.
  • Partner with field teams to achieve business goals and document activities using company tools.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 7–8 years of sales experience in the medical device industry; experience with Class III implantable devices is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
  • Proven track record as a top sales performer, preferably in neurology-focused industries or with active implantables, cranial devices, or imaging/robotics/navigation systems.
  • Strong strategic account planning and business development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical and case management teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70%–80% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.
