Melody Lam leads BioTalent’s West Coast Medical Device and Diagnostics division, specialising in STEM and Commercial recruitment for MedTech companies across the Western U.S. With over 10 years of recruitment experience, Melody focuses on roles in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Clinical Affairs, Manufacturing, and Executive Hires.

She works with companies ranging from stealth-mode start-ups to Fortune 500 MedTech firms. Melody’s expertise lies in identifying niche and urgent talent for business-critical roles in the MedTech space. She transitioned into life sciences recruitment after initially planning to pursue a degree in Audiology & Speech Pathology.

Outside of work, Melody enjoys distance running, reading, cooking, and traveling. She has a Golden Retriever named Jack and joined BioTalent in January 2021. Melody is passionate about the advancements in wearable technology and AI in the MedTech sector and its impact on patient care.
