Senior Business Development Manager
A rapidly growing company specializing in NGS services are looking to grow their Business Development team. To promote their cutting edge technologies to advance research, preclinical, and clinical development.
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in securing and retaining business through consultative and proactive sales activities. You will target decision-makers and influencers in Biotech, Pharma companies, and academic institutions, positioning our company as a preferred provider for NGS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and new clients.
- Lead RFP strategy sessions, create client proposals, deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Conduct cold calls and client visits; maintain records in the sales database and activity reports.
- Analyze market trends, track emerging services, and assess pricing strategies.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular contact and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience
- Master's degree in relevant technical area is preferred
- Knowledge of NGS and single cell technologies.
- Proven track record of delivery sales and manage negotiations through to close.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
