Rare Disease Specialist (France East)

Job Summary
The Rare Disease Specialist will compliantly market the company’s products to healthcare providers and customers within the assigned region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Engage in impactful conversations with customers, utilizing effective selling techniques and marketing strategies to increase demand for the company's products.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of key customers.
  • Maintain an active and updated customer database.
  • Effectively use marketing materials and programs to support sales activities.
  • Demonstrate strong key account management skills.
  • Create and execute business plans with clear resource allocations aligned to business objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders.
  • Coordinate and organize promotional programs in compliance with promotional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct field activities such as lunch meetings, customer in-services, and other compliant customer engagement activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech sales experience required.
  • Experience in rare diseases and small companies is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to cover a wide geographical area (France East region). This role involves frequent travel, and hotel, plane, or train trips are highly recommended.
  • Existing relationships with key accounts within the assigned territory are advantageous.
  • Experience as the sole commercial salesperson in a territory is highly valued.
  • Ability to apply effective rare disease sales strategies and achieve results.
  • Knowledge of relevant disease states and treatments.
  • Ability to think creatively, expand business opportunities, and work both independently and within a team.
  • Fluency in French and proficiency in English are required.
