- Assemble and wire intricate electronic systems following schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Inspect and troubleshoot PCB assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Use microscopes, soldering irons, rework stations, and other lab tools to complete precision work.
- Assist engineers in prototype development, modifications, and testing of electronic assemblies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and inventory tracking.
- Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols and lab best practices.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in fine-pitch soldering, PCB assembly, and precision wiring.
- Proficiency in using soldering irons, rework stations, and microscopes for detailed work.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with IPC soldering standards (e.g., IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components under magnification.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and testing methods.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment.
