Job Title: Senior Solution Architect - Voice

Location: Remote- EU

Job Type: Full-Time (12-month Duration Minimum)

Overview
The Senior Solution Architect - Voice is responsible for designing and planning technology solutions while aligning business requirements with technical systems to meet enterprise architectural standards. This includes designing and implementing global Voice Infrastructure (e.g., MS Teams Voice, Skype for Business, Audiocode, Cisco Call Manager, Luware, Attendant Pro) to ensure high availability, compliance, and efficient operations. The role involves collaboration with external outsourcing providers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise and Transition Support:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge of CUCM, Cisco Voice gateways, Skype, and Teams Voice.
  • Support the transition of CUCM, Cisco Voice gateways, and Skype to Teams Voice solutions.

Requirements Alignment and System Operations:

  • Review, interpret, and respond to detailed business requirements to ensure alignment with current and future ICT capabilities.
  • Operate and maintain the Voice environment to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

 

Project Delivery and Standards Compliance:

  • Deliver project work in adherence to organizational standards and concepts.
  • Conduct technology scouting, run proof of concepts, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to define global IT infrastructure standards.

Incident Management and Security:

  • Resolve critical incidents and complex problems to ensure service continuity.
  • Ensure disaster recovery readiness and safeguard systems against unauthorized access.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Implement and document systems in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure alignment with IT infrastructure policies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of CUCM, Cisco Voice gateways, Skype, and Teams Voice solutions.
  • Proven experience in transitioning voice systems to modern solutions like Teams Voice.
  • Expertise in aligning technical systems with business needs and enterprise standards.
  • Experience in disaster recovery, incident management, and IT security.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with vendors and teams globally.
  • Strong documentation skills and commitment to maintaining compliance.
