​Based in our New York office, Josh Goldberg leads BioTalent's Life Sciences group, specialising in recruiting for small to mid-size biotech and pharma companies. With a focus on clinical development, regulatory affairs, clinical operations, biometrics, drug safety, and medical affairs, Josh and his team are experts in connecting top talent with companies driving innovation in the life sciences. They also excel in building commercial sales teams for organizations preparing to go to market.

Josh joined BioTalent in August 2024, bringing a background in sales and a passion for making a positive impact. Transitioning from the solar energy sector, he found his calling in life sciences recruitment, where he could contribute to an industry that changes lives. In addition to managing a team of seasoned recruiters, Josh specializes in business development, account management, and client expansion, ensuring his clients receive tailored support to meet their hiring needs.

Josh has witnessed significant shifts in the life sciences industry, particularly during and after the pandemic. While investment in new drug development surged in the years following COVID-19, it has since stabilised, and the market is now experiencing a resurgence in hiring across key areas.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys an active lifestyle, from snowboarding and tennis to disc golf and music. As a proud new dad, he also cherishes time with his family and friends. A fun fact? Josh has never had a cup of coffee in his life—a rare feat in the fast-paced world of recruitment! Growing up, he always dreamed of becoming a businessman, and his role at BioTalent allows him to combine that ambition with his passion for supporting life-changing industries.
