Duncan Johnston

Duncan is a Principal Consultant in BioTalent’s Key Account Management team, focusing on building long-term relationships with clients in the Biotech and Pharma QA sectors across the DACH region. He works closely with companies to understand their specific needs and helps them find the right talent to align with their organizational culture. Duncan specializes in senior roles, including Senior Quality Directors, QPs, and Quality Control Directors.

Duncan joined BioTalent in January 2021, bringing a background in recruitment and a passion for life sciences. He’s always been excited about the rapid pace of innovation in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets and believes the future of the industry will see significant growth in the biosimilar market, offering affordable alternatives to biologic drugs.

Outside of work, Duncan enjoys playing cricket, golf, and tennis, and loves adrenaline-fueled activities like snowboarding, surfing, and wakeboarding. He also has a memorable story from his travels—he once camped under the stars in Zimbabwe, only to realize the next morning that they had swum in a crocodile-infested lake and camped near lions.
