​Based in our San Diego office, Amanda Russo is a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Commercial roles within the Medical Device sector. Since joining BioTalent in January 2025, she has been dedicated to connecting top-tier Sales, Marketing, and Business Development professionals with innovative companies driving advancements in healthcare technology.

Amanda’s journey into life sciences recruitment was sparked by her passion for science and her natural ability to connect people with meaningful opportunities. Introduced to the industry by her cousin, she quickly discovered a love for recruitment—especially in a field where placing the right talent can make a real difference. With a keen eye on industry trends, she sees AI, data-driven hiring, and remote work reshaping the future of recruitment, bringing new opportunities for both candidates and businesses.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and her dog. A classically trained opera singer, she once dreamed of a career on stage as an actress and vocalist. While her path led her to recruitment instead, she still brings the same energy and passion—just with a different audience in mind.
