Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Lean standards, including 6S, SMED, Kaizen, Gemba, and A3 problem-solving methodologies.
  • Further develop shop floor management and the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) methodology.
  • Conduct workplace and process analyses, such as value stream analyses/designs, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with employees to implement Lean systems and methods, ensuring sustainable implementation and employee engagement.
  • Develop and optimize internal processes using Lean management methods under Quality Management Systems (QS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) aspects.
  • Track and monitor the Lean Roadmap for the Production Assembly & Packaging area, ensuring progress towards objectives.
  • Take responsibility for the further development of the existing Betriebsdatenerfassung (BDE) system to support Lean principles and practices.

Skillset Required:
  • Completed subject-related university studies with an economic or technical focus or comparable training.
  • Several years of professional experience in production or logistics areas of industrial companies.
  • Proven success in the implementation of Lean projects; Lean Six Sigma training preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written German; English proficiency desirable.
  • Confident in appearance with excellent moderation skills at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to coordinate complex work processes and technical understanding.
  • Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

As this role is site-based, the company does require the successful individual to be within a  commutable distance. Should you have the needed skillset but live outside of a commutable distance, there is relocation support on offer, to assist with a move closer to the facilities.
